Fusion Housing provides housing advice, housing related support services, learning & employment opportunities to people in Kirklees, along with managed tenancy services in Kirklees, Calderdale and Wakefield.
We have vacancy for a HOUSING ADVICE MANAGER to work in our Advice Service and act as lead officer for Kirklees Stronger Families in relation to communication and data control within Fusion Housing. This is a part time (30 hours per week) fixed term position with funding to 31 March 2020, based in Huddersfield with travel to Dewsbury.
The salary is £33,136 to £35,229 (pro rata) (NJC points 37 – 39)
This is a new post within Fusion’s Housing Advice Service and we are looking for someone who:
- will provide operational management for Fusion’s Housing Advice related activities
- has the experience and ability to manage Legal Aid Contracts with the skills and knowledge to support specialist level casework
- will carry out the lead officer role for Kirklees Stronger Families Programme within Fusion
- has excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with other managers eg to align services with the Stronger Families Programme approach
