Fusion Housing awarded new funding to help young people in West Yorkshire.

As part of new Government funding initiatives, Fusion Housing has been awarded a Fair Chance Fund contract to help homeless young people in Kirklees, Wakefield and Calderdale to access accommodation, education and employment opportunities. The project starts on the 5th January 2015 and will work in partnership with local agencies to ensure clients receive specialist support to improve their futures. For more information about the governments initiative to help young homeless people follow the link.

The Way You Register To Vote Has Changed…

From 10 June, the way you register to vote changed to a new system called Individual Electoral Registration. This also allows applications to be made online at the following link:
Most people already on the electoral register will be automatically registered under the new system, but some people will need to provide further information. Anyone moving into the area, from 10 June needs to apply using the new system.

If you are not registered you may find it difficult to get credit, a mobile phone contract, loan or mortgage.
